Exactly! This is why I won't buy any more Apple products...period!! My son's iphone was stolen three days after we bought it. Even with the Apple service plan, Apple would do nothing to ensure the stolen phone was never used again, even as a simple ipod. Not only that, but of course their service plan didn't cover theft, and neither did Sprint. I said adios to both!! |

I did. With a $500 deductible, I was able to get enough out of them to buy a refurbished ANDROID. Had this been a stolen Android, we wouldn't have received a dime from homeowner's coverage. Well, at least with ANDROIDS you can get theft insurance. Of course, Google isn't going to ensure that nobody else can use your stolen phone. The difference is that Apple is the software AND the hardware manufacturer. |

Sprint does after 21 days. Sprint uses the same insurance company as every other carrier, so no carrier would give you a free/discounted phone 3 days after adding it to an account. |
