Cheapshot artist and diver supreme. I think Brown real good player. And you are confused between Brown and Ryan Kesler. Alex/Maxi are cheap shot artists. Infact Ryan can be only compared the Famous Football(Soccer) player "Kaiser". The best diver in sports. Brown did hit him with shoulder but the transmission in Canucks region filtered that and people are upset with his hit. Even the slow-mo was repeated while the handshake was going on. Even The Biased CBC commentators agreed it was a good call. But being burnt by Brown with SH goals, in that series I can understand why people(From BC) Canucks fans hate Brown. I am sure the loser Canucks here are praying Kings to lose in finale, as people in rest of Canada wished Canucks to lose every time. I think someone forgot to load the napalm in their flamethrower, as that was less than a fizzle.....it was just the squeek of a trigger with no subsequent action.
I think I've missed an update to the rules of CanChat, as it seems some think anything that is making fun of a Canucks fan or the team's massive choke this year is a troll but it's perfectly okay to deride any other team, at length, because they aren't the "chosen one" Canucks. It's almost like Vancouver is considered to be the centre of the hockey universe. Hmmm....methinks some thicker skin is needed -- some lotion might help.

Lighten up, Francis. Sour grapes over the Canucks massive flameout isn't going to get anything but derision because that's all it deserves, especially when the bias is so obvious to anyone who isn't carrying it. If Brown was playing for the Canucks and the Canucks had just made it back to the SCF, there would be no trace of any thought of him being dirty so it's the uniform on the player, not the player's actions, that are dictating the stance against him.
Congratulations to @LAKings for their 3rd series in a row of major dominance over the opposition, and I hope you do the same in the next round as well. Kudos also to @phoenixcoyotes for a great playoff run. -- All of us get lost in the darkness, dreams learn to steer by the stars All of us do time in the gutter, dreamers turn to look at the cars Join Team Helix

| Hrm, I dont know it for a fact, but to me it seems that the Kings must be the first 8th seed to defeat the 1-2-3 seeds in their conference, eh?
Pretty awesome run, after being mostly mediocre in the regular season and sneaking into the playoff. Also like you said, they didn't have to grind out any series, they flat out dominated all 3 teams. |

KardinalDei Gratia ReginaPremium join:2001-02-04 N of 49th | There was mention of that on the morning show today on sports radio, and reference to one other similar run, but I can't recall it at the moment.
If anyone wants a great example of a team "getting in the playoffs and going on a run", the 2011-2012 LA Kings fit the definition rather well. They've had long layoffs between series already this post-season, so it won't be the first time they're waiting for an opponent (and possibly hoping that the ECF goes to 7 games so that the winner is tired and banged up by the end of it). -- All of us get lost in the darkness, dreams learn to steer by the stars All of us do time in the gutter, dreamers turn to look at the cars Join Team Helix

Yeah, anything can happen. It doesn't happen too often like this, but several 7/8th place teams have suprised since the lockout.
Burke looks even sillier the longer the Kings run goes on, and had the Sens made it out of the first round as well. They were close and it definitely wasn't the scenario of "I don't wanna get our asses kicked in the first round". -- GO BLUE JAYS!

| reply to HiVolt Canucks outshot the Kings in 3 of the 5 games badly, something like 46-20 and only Quick kept them in the games.

KardinalDei Gratia ReginaPremium join:2001-02-04 N of 49th | Shots on goal are a stat -- goals win games, and the Kings won 4 out of 5 against the Canucks, just like they did against the Coyotes. To be the President's Cup winner and go out in 5 against the #8 seed......that's a complete choke, pure and simple. Of course, I'm not a Canucks fan, so I'm not trying to dress up a pig to be a peacock to make myself feel better.
On Dustin Brown, I think Ray Ferraro said it pretty well today (@rayferrarotsn):
I think Dustin Brown is 2012's Claude Lemieux - clutch goals borderline hits--every team wants him, everyone else can't stand him -- All of us get lost in the darkness, dreams learn to steer by the stars All of us do time in the gutter, dreamers turn to look at the cars Join Team Helix

The final results may show a different story but I don't call that the type of dominance they showed in the last 2 series. You are not only dumb but pretty high on that BC stuff. Its time you count how many shots/puffs/whatever you have.
If shots could/would win matches. The reality is Canucks are playing golf.
Being illiterate and driving Taxi is better than hating everybody and every team, dreaming winning the Cup. Presidents' Trophy is good enough for you.
I told you before being literate and having money doesn't make you a better person. Every time you attack personally you lower your self. But how low can you be as you are already on the floor.
I don't drive taxi but its better to drive taxi than being a drug dealer/pusher in BC and posting about Sports all day. I actually got tangled with Faxcap by mistake because of you.
you cant accept Canucks lost. They lost for second year in row. You need men like Malkin, Crosby, or Hossa to reach finale again and win the Cup eventually.
Kings won fair and square. They beat no. 1,2 3 teams. You want Canuck to win the Cup then stop diving, biting, looking at ref for calls, relying on power-play to win the games, goalie to save the games instead of blocking shots. The list is long.
I have this for you and your team. Play Hockey and you will win the Cup.
I hope you do(win) at least a once, because then you can officially spend one night in gutter, enjoying and not in pain.
And yeah Kesler is the best diver what "Kaiser" is known for, who invented this art. And stop smoking even though that's the best stuff you produce.
Its time you and the ex-mod from India-America to hang together and smoke that good stuff. Because both of you just hate illiterate people and think should not exists in Canada.
L.A King won. Brown demolished Canucks players.
By the way Canucks Lost. Again. Twice in row. Men like Pens player won the second time. Cheers. I don't drink but still. Cheers. |

......and the defending Stanley Cup champions took the #7 seed to 7 games with an overall goal score of 15-16, while the Stanley Cup runners up and current President's Cup winners went down to the #8 seed in 5 games with an overall goal score of 8-12.
