If DSLR is down, does Karl still write articles every day even though nobody can read them?
It seems so since he posted at least half a dozen since it came back up. I think Karl's pieces are one of the things that makes this site great. |

My old account login would not work so I created a new one, differrent name. Is this correct or should my old account be able to login?
BTW sad to read the horror story that you have gone through regarding your RAID. I went through the same type of issue around 8 years ago with a HP raid enclosure so I can understand your situation. Best of luck that Dell can recover the remaining virtual drive(s). |

How old was your account? It it was made after september 2010 it might be gone temporarily(?). Also if your name changed since then you might try logging in with your old name. It looks like passwords were current though, so I'd imagine account names are too.

I think it was created in 2010 so that is probably the reason. Ill use my temporary account then and hope the recovery goes well.

Can you please post some pictures of the Data Center if you can.. We would love to see some of the new equipment put in place and all the wires and lights that come with it.. Thank god for DSLReports.. nobody else can replace this site.

My username was changed a while ago but I was unable to log in. But, dummy me, I created a new user with my username from 2011 and then saw I had no posts and wasn't premium. Now I have to re-login my new, old username and remove the account. Duh. 
My avatar is the new one. Wonder why that didn't revert to the old one?
