"5. Cast is shown at the first Info button press on Recordings"
I'm not seeing that at all or is that in another upcoming build? It's only applies to recorded shows on your DVR, not live TV Same here, the cast only displays for live TV and not on recordings. |

On the black boxes with a clock switching the LED brightness to high is same as normal.
On the black boxes without a clock you don't have the LED brightness setting to change the brightness of the power button. How is the bold a bug? Unless you are referring to the white LED light on the front of those boxes and wanted to be able to lower that? They might not have thought that bothered people and only thought it was the boxes with a clock so they had the IMG look at which box it was and not enable that feature. To them not a bug.

Take a marker and color over them. I used a red one for the record light, to me, recording indicators should be red, the one on my 7232-2 is now. |

The only light on those is a white power indicator light.

The dimming feature will be a welcome one for me. |

If in a bedroom black perhaps to make it all but disapear. |

ksalper join:2002-11-15 West Orange, NJ | reply to nascar Something I thought was going to be fixed, but which seems not to be -- if you're playing back, on a remote STB, a program currently being recorded, if you fast-forward too far, like in a commercial break, you still get kicked out of the recording into live TV. Really obnoxious, because I do it all the time. |

ksalper join:2002-11-15 West Orange, NJ | Thanks. I can't imagine we're that unusual of a use case -- we keep the DVR in the bedroom, because we don't watch much prime-time tv up there, and that unit occasionally has to record two things at once, which is annoying if you want to watch some third thing -- and with kids always making noise and needing things, we like to be able to pause what we're watching and FF the commercials, so we let shows queue for a couple minutes or so (though it seems just a few seconds is enough with 1.91) and watch via DVR. |
|
 | reply to nascar Thanks for checking on that... It is quite annoying. |

Rattler join:2001-04-13 Havertown, PA | reply to nascar Well, I still can't get to any of the Customer Support menu items (e.g. In Home Agent) and now another glitch has shown up on the DVR (6416)...
Tuners tuned to CHs 622 and 901. Watched a recording of last nite's Deadliest Catch. Finished watching, exited out of the DVR menu to Ch 901. Wanted to tune to 622 and pressed the "Last" button on the remote. The recorded Deadliest Catch I'd just watched started up from the beginning again.
I stopped it and exited the DVR menu, the tuner returned to CH 901. Pressed the "Last" button again and the recorded show restarted. I had to enter 622 to get to that channel.
I tried it with another recorded show and two other channels entered into the tuners. Same thing happened - pressing the "Last" button on the remote restarted the recorded show. -- Never raise your hands to your kids. It leaves your groin unprotected. -- Red Buttons |

As we used to refer to it... " A feature, not to be construed as a defect "... This is actually doing what it has been programmed to do. Maybe it should have the "intelligence" to not go back to a finished recording, only a partially finished or paused recording, however it doesn't do that. Rattler join:2001-04-13 Havertown, PA | After the 5+ years I've had FiOS they had to go and mess with that, ugh!
I'm still wondering about not being able to get to the In-Home Agent menu though - on both my STBs - 6416 & 7100-P2. Guess I will have to make the dreaded 2-hour call to a CSR... -- Never raise your hands to your kids. It leaves your groin unprotected. -- Red Buttons |

OwlSaverOwlSaverPremium join:2005-01-30 Berwyn, PA | reply to Rattler I am having the same problem with the In Home Agent. In addition, none of the help options work. I assume it is all related. My motivation is low to get on a call about it. |

OwlSaverOwlSaverPremium join:2005-01-30 Berwyn, PA | reply to nascar Does anyone else have a problem where the progress bar is lost on playback. It occurred a few times on 1.9 but seems to happen almost every time on 1.9.1. I start watching a recorded show. I press the skip a few times. Eventually, the skip does not work. I press info and the progress bar is all dark and the start and end times are not correct. Fast Forward still works. Is anyone else experiencing this? |

I noticed the same annoying behavior last night with a 7232. Finished watching a recorded show, exited out of the DVR menu, hit "Last" in an attempt to go back to the previous live channel...but instead it looped back to the beginning of the recorded show I had just watched. Glitch? Feature? Either way, I don't like it. |
