Pig tail and acid out too. Because they had to use "acid out", I'd say the compressor failed because the windings either shorted or grounded, right?. Did they say what caused the premature failure? There can be several issues which can cause premature compressor failure because compressors don't usually fail on their own and unless the cause of the failure is corrected, the new compressor will prematurely fail, too. |

All I can tell you about the failure is that 1 leg of the compressor was shorted. This allowed the fan to spin at a slow speed. Black residue all over the pigtail and compressor.
On the logic board you can see a burned circuit on CCH and L2 which sit next to each other. Possibly ODF as well. |
