It doubled the available spectrum in my market (Saint Louis, MO) which, until this was announced, didn't look to be on any roadmap for LTE.
Now there's enough spectrum to get LTE deployed here. The only places where T-Mobile "lost" spectrum is where they already have more than enough to have both DC-HSPA+ and LTE. This deal enables them to offer LTE in more markets, so it looks like it benefits both companies quite well. |
