Re: GNOME 4 - The Future of Portability It was pretty obvious. With that being said, what the GNOME hippies did right was to open the Shell to extensions. Install the right ones and you turn it into a usable DE. MGSE is a good start but I know I installed a couple more, just forgetting which ones as I've migrated over to XFCE due to aging hardware. If I had more contemporary hardware, I would have stuck with GNOME Shell + MGSE. -- If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple.
