And communications are what is most distracting, not value adds for driving like GPS and music/podcasts/audiobooks.

Yea sure pretty much everyone does it...but I disagree to a large extent that the communications is the biggest distraction. The "value add" items you talk of, can be VERY distracting...every bit as much as the conversation. Especially things like GPS where you're interacting with the device. The content isn't the issue.
