The addition of the morning and prime-time newscasts will be the main focus of the HD content. They also show a lot of movies and other shows like Law & Order CI that would be in HD. I'm sure CBS will make other changes to imporove the channel as time goes on. |

Actually, that is an incorrect statement.
WNET shuttles a LOT of programming to WLIW that doesn't get any airing on WNET these days (WNET owns both stations and now also owns the NJ PBS stations as well), with one of my favorite shows Austin City Limits being just one example. |

Out of curiosity I checked the Comcast lineup in my area to see what they are offering these days. They do have a channel listed as WLIW-HD. I'm wondering if there really is a WLIW-HD or if this is a misprint in the channel lineup. |

Yeah must be a misprint. I suspect they're just showing the SD version of the channel on that feed. WLIW doesn't have an HD feed! |

No WLNY Ch510 on VHO7.
My guess is they are not turning it on since we should have had it when VHO5 got it or at the least had it added today after the holiday. |
