Re: [Official] Tera Online Thread

My machine is Core 2 Duo, Intel... 6 years old, with 2 gigs of ram, and 512mb GeForce something GPU

based on what you're saying, I'm going to by a new machine with at least 4 cores, and at least 1 TB HD, and at least 8gigs of ram, and a decent 1g+ graphics card

It needs to be able to handle Tera, GW2(supposed to be easier on machine than Tera), MoP, Diablo 3, and Titan(coming out 2-3 years from now)

no, based on what i'm saying you are fine

just increase your RAM to 4gb (very cheap)
this will free up your HD from working so hard
and keep your Windows virtual page file in RAM.

you can get really cheap 1gb PCIe1 GPU cards,
so anything under $50 that runs on your Mobo
should be an improvement on a 6yo computer.
careful with PCIe2 cards that may require more
power than your 6yo supply can handle.

so no need to spend $500-$1000 just to play this game,
when all you need is a long overdue $50-$100 upgrade.
