You should, but again keep in mind this is a minor we're talking about..and I'm assuming you're not the guardian and/or parent.
Minors can't sign away rights to things/decisions they do not legally hold. While you can tell the parents that you 100% explained the full implications of installing a keylogger on his machine, they could *easily* tell you "Yeah, but he's just a kid. Kids do stupid s***. You should have told us." Now you are boned.
If you can get both the parents & teen on board to agree to your keylogging terms, then it's fine. But treating a teen as a fully aware & self-deciding adult can open you up to legal problems. |
