TSI MarcPremium,VIP join:2006-06-23 Chatham, ON kudos:15 1 edit | No, it's not April fools. [NEW DSL and QC-Cable PLANS]
Number of updates.
Introduced 75GB plans for QC Cable and ON/QC DSL.
Overages: removed 2 month rollover in favor of $0.50/GB max $25. Option to upgrade to higher package instead of paying overage. Notice to existing users to be sent later.
Can make changes within myworld.teksavvy.com at no charge if speed doesn't change.
Lucky March promotion [free $95 setup fee for higher DSL speeds if install happens in March] applies to new 75GB plans.
I think that covers it. [I still need to look into the DSL QC 10Mbit speed pricing as mentioned; pricing looks like it is likely wrong when compaired to DSL ON 12Mbit speed pricing.] |

Hope this helps lower usage users. This came about after reading the feedback from earlier last month. Took a bit of time to work it into the schedule but there it is. -- Marc - CEO/TekSavvy |

Thought it might have been a Cogeco announcement :P |
|
 | May I have the first question Mr. CEO?
Will the Lucky Month of March Terms and Conditions be modified, and therefore be applicable to all the new plans, for the remainder of the promotion? |

TSI MarcPremium,VIP join:2006-06-23 Chatham, ON kudos:15 | reply to silvercat Nope. In time I'm sure we'll go down that path but for now I'm happy to have others sharing in the fun. There are no near term plans on that front.
We have a busy schedule ahead of us with a series of steady tweaks and upgrades and so the plan is to focus on what we have and get back to the basics.
We also wanted to get the lower caps out for this month given the dsl promo... -- Marc - CEO/TekSavvy |

I know you have your hands full with Rogers POI's that are in dire need of upgrades, and you did say also that you wanted to focus on the West first -- so i do understand. |

[NEW TSI DSL PLANS] One picture is worth a tetrabyte - or was that a mumblehertz ?
These are for Ontario DSL.
There should be others for QC DSL and QC Cable.
Marc, I'll include these in the ONTARIO SPREADSHEET ASAP. |

grunze510 join:2009-02-14 Cote Saint-Luc, QC kudos:1 | I see that DSL 10 in Quebec still costs more than DSL 12 in Ontario.
DSL 12 with a 75GB cap is $40 and with a 300GB cap is $42, DSL 10 with a 75GB cap is $41 and with a 300GB cap is $45. Can you finally explain why that is? Shouldn't DSL 10 cost less than DSL 12 since it's slower and both cost the exact same in the tariffs? I mean, with the Quebec DSL 10 pricing as it is, there's no point of the 300GB tier since the 300 GB DSL 16 is only a dollar more. |

Re: No, it's not April fools. Yeah I'm trying to avoid thinking about that. It's very frustrating. For all of us.
A bit longer still for out west. We have new rates and router upgrades on deck. -- Marc - CEO/TekSavvy |

Because I don't know if you've noticed (I don't know how you'd miss it, but whatever, I'll take your benefit of the doubt for obvious reasons.), but a whole bunch of us have been asking that since early January when you guys announced that DSL 10 is staying at $45/month, same as the old price.
EDIT: To the poster directly below me, sorry but you're 2 seconds late. |

THAT one has been lamented a lot out here, but I guess it fell thru the cracks with everything else you have had on your plate lately.
I think that they are equal on the Bell tariff.
BTW, do you have a COUCH in your new office - for NAPs ?
EDIT : to the poster immediately above me - yes, but I got a joke in too ! |
