Re: Anyone having problems with radio controlled clocks? Any clock that follows the standard will update to DST no matter if they change the date like the Bush administration did.
WWVB puts a DST flag the night before that tells it to change DST tonight. When your clock syncs it will get that flag and change over to DST properly at 2AM. After the DST changeover the WWVB signal will have the DST flag saying that DST is in effect. This is what they refer to as "transition day" handling.

What may have happened is that your clock didn't sync the night before. In that case it will change over the next time it syncs. Nothing to be worried about.
Of course there may have been some clocks with the dates hardcoded in. Nothing you can do for those except change them manually.
GPS time is not the same as UTC. It is actually ~15 seconds ahead.
