anon posted : I'm hesitant to post this since I'm not sure it helps, but I have a half-assed memory of an infomercial for a new cricket that was (guessing?) twice as big they showed in comparison. They were going on about it now doing heavy cuts. I was trying to get to sleep but that much I got. Maybe that's what your wife wants?

-Jim

MJimLay posted : Thanks :) She's also wanting a new printer that will actually cut the logo like a cricut does... so if the logo she prints is a circle, the printer will cut it out. Not sure if this is possible, thinking of telling her to do the cutting herself and stop being lazy :D

Printer/Plotter for Vinyl?

MJimLay posted : My wife has started a new hobby and is making custom Acrylic Tumblers. Currently, she is using a Cricut machine for making letters using Vinyl (sticky back to put on cup) which has proved to work out excellent and is safe in the dish washer (she has cups that are years old she made and still have the Vinyl Stickers on them)

She is now wanting a printer to print on white vinyl so she can print company logos and such. I'm not familiar with this and I'm sure an inkjet printer wouldn't work.

What type of printer would be needed for this?

Thanks!
