1 edit | [WIN7] AutoShutdown EDIT: I just found the switch that says "Wake computer to run this task". So i'll know tommorrow if it worked or not.
I tried to schedule autoshutdown.exe to run about 10PM. It doesn't run as the last events i get are around 7PM. The next day, my computer is asleep and on hitting the power button, it just resumes windows. i would like it to shutdown, because sometimes the network driver is inop and it takes a reboot to activate it. There is also a freeware autoshutdown availible, but i thought i'd try to understand the various WIN7 modes first. Anyone else do this? |
