Re: Are SA DVR's the most unreliable electronic devices ? said by OSUGoose:Not to hijack this tread, but when i pay a company , i expect them to repair their service, and if its proven that my stuff is at fault, only then will i accept a RTV response, but when the OP states outer non BHN equipment works, it points to being BHN issue with their hardware. Just looking on face value as I'm not able to touch the hardware to see what issue he's having. Proper troubleshooting always begins with talking to support on both sides. Not just one side. It's very common with todays technology to have specific device issues on both sides of the fence. Before you present a problem involving 3rd party equipment and our boxes the expectation is you will have at minimum done your homework on the 3rd party side. Once this is done if the issue still persists I can and will engage the mfr of the device and do what needs to be done. But to openly blame a specific device without first having checked all the facts is premature and very wasteful of everyones time because you only have part of the equation and ultimately the work will still need to be done before anyone can move forward. I just don't jump on something because someone says there is a problem. I investigate each issue completely. That means I expect ya'll to do your part first. Not engaging the mfr of the device actually exhibiting the behavior is a complete waste of everyones time. Frankly that should have been the first place he started. -- ~All truth goes through three phases. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as self-evident. - Arthur Schopenhauer ~
