Re: ESET is still not recognizing USB drives I decided to renew my subscription, though I am using ver 4 instead of reinstalling 5. Version 4 works okay and I have other tools running (MBAM and SAS). I also make sure to shut down before I remove any USB hard drive. Then I make sure to reconnect that USB hard drive before I start up the computer. This is with XP SP3. -- It is easier for a camel to put on a bikini than an old man to thread a needle. |

 | Today's bug fix update 5.0.95 did not fix it. I have had enough. I will not waste any more time on this. |

 | There's a list of software (drivers) causing these issues: »www.wilderssecurity.com/showthre···t=319192
Check if you have one of them installed. |

 | We tried those with no success.

We also tried using the SATA dock with no success. Clearly the cause is a fundamental flaw in the ESET programming.
We do not have enough time left to be worth our while asking a refund but we will certainly not be renewing. |
