Re: TSI Marc, Quebec cable announcement, when?

... they're available, and (for me) they're worse.

Basic Cable 3 - $24.95
Basic Cable 3 Unlimited - $34.95
Express Cable 8 - $39.95
Express Cable 8 Unlimited - $47.95
Extreme Cable 15 - $50.95
Extreme Cable 15 Unlimited - $57.95
Ultimate Cable 30 - $59.95
Ultimate Cable 30 Unlimited - $69.95

No, they don't show caps for the non-unlimited ones yet.

This makes me sad though. I currently pay $34.95 for 8MB/s service with a 50GB cap. That 50GB cap is enough for me, I don't need more, but I do need greater than 3MB/s speed.

So I'll be forced to pay an additional $7/month just to maintain the same service I have today. (Even though it's likely they'll increase my cap, as I never hit it it doesn't matter).

Marc do you know if I can move to 30/2 on my sb5101 temporarily ? Are we charged a setup fee when we move plans ?

What about the per gb charge did you drop the 2 month average (auto upgrade to unlimited).

If you move from one speed to another it's $5 that Videotron charges us. They also have a fairly long turn around time from what I understand from our service delivery department.

my world has gotten an upgrade also where I believe you can do that. I haven't actually seen it myself though so maybe you can tell me

Great to see the new rates at last... even though I don't regret switching to EBox considering the great service... I still have one DSL line with Tek, but probably not for much longer... Will see what's gonna happen with that one.

Marc, you guys should move the Thomson - DCM-475 modem into the Docsis 3.0 column.

Videotron took less than 48 hrs to change my speed profile over TPIA, so I don't think it's such a big turn around time.

Hey guys,

I have been awaiting your announcement for a while for the qc cable rates. Ill be honest i'm a little disappointed, Acanac came out with plans that are pretty much $56.95 per month (if you pre-pay...i know)for 30mbit/15mbit for (5hrs) vs 57.95$ with teksavvy.

I am not trying to belittle your service what so-ever, I am trying to get myself as much information as possible before making a choice as an educated consumer. Therefore I am interested in any benefits that I would be "buying" with teksavvy. Do you guys possess a greater connection with videotron vs acanac which would result in less congestion? Do i have access to any additional perks with my service.

One last thing on an unrelated topic, I noticed that on your site it says the 6120 is accepted, just wanted to confirm I could use an old modem one of my friends isn't using.

Thanks!
