Don't think so. I believe this is caused by a bug that was introduced in Beta2. If I'm correct, manual import won't work.

Beta3 should be out next week (maybe Monday).

HM is running fine otherwise, it seems to be a 32-bit process and has to be run-as Administrator in order to update, but that isn't new. Not running Hosts Server at this time. It was working until this newest update.

Could it be the MVPS hosts update itself is corrupted somehow? Perhaps I should import it manually...Hmm.

I thought perhaps Avast 7 had mashed it, but even after Avast is disabled, it still does it.

I removed it because it's not ready. :)

I want to correct one thing that I said before though. When I said that you have to check for updates manually, I lied... 4.0 can automatically notify users when new updates are available, as long as the user turns the option on (under menu Edit > Preferences > Updater).

The removal of AutoUpdate is temporary. I expect to add it back later. For now, you have to check for updates manually. Sorry.
