Re: [motherboard] Failing CPU or motherboard

Why would I want to keep my Pentium 4 up and running? Wouldn't it be best to upgrade?

One would ask why you started the thread, then.

I was wondering what is causing the problems that I have been experiencing. Also I was hoping if I can pinpoint the problem like if it's motherboard or cpu than its best off to replace the whole system. Or if it's something like ram, power supply or hard drive (ide only, no sata ) than I could replace it.
So I was planning to keep it running if its an issue of the:
hard drive
power supply
ram

But if it was the motherboard or cpu than its worth the scrap pile.
I hope that makes sense.
