I wonder how much hazy effects their microwave backhaul gear.

I have two internet providers Clear I just got and this is the results from my Virgin Mobile broadband USB modem. they have a 2.5 gig cap and then they slow you down. I have had it for 2 months now and in both months I reached that in 1 week with out streaming any movies, that was just from updates from a couple of new builds I did. one was new and the other was a rebuild. both needed all kinds of updates. This USB modem is really bad. I am very happy with Clear right now. it has been less than a week but so far so good. I hope I don't run into problems from streaming movies at home. they said it was unlimited and I can have 8 connections each with their own bandwidth that will not effect the each other. after a week and reaching the 2.5 gigs this Virgin Mobile is like having a dial up connection, it reminds me of my first experience with the internet 13 years ago. Does anyone have any problems with Clear ? do they give you any trouble if you stream a lot of movies or TV ? |
