100% American parts is not a requirement, not even on the “want” list. So no need to worry about that.
I've now read the Chevy Malibu Wikipedia page. Unfortunately it doesn't mention safety features.
I could Google the Malibu further, but the whole idea of my request for help is to ask people who already know, and are willing to share their knowledge.
I already have spent a lot of time in reading Ford forums, investigating what year side bags became an option on the Taurus, Vulcan versus Duratech engines, and other minutiae.
That was the point where I realized that by the time I did some in depth research on every possible candidate, I could have a hundred hours invested.
So if you could, what years of the Malibu include a drivers side curtain bag as optional, and what years (if any) are they standard?
If you don't know the answer, I certainly can investigate on my own, and I do appreciate the help you have already provided. |
