NF wants to get rid of DVD's as soon as it can. That means it cannot do anything that will anger the studios.
Netflix doesn't want to be in DVD business at all. It is all to their benefit if DVDs dry up altogether. So, of course they will go along with TW's plan. But once DVDs do dry up, they are next on the studios hit list.
