Yes it would. If you had the malware, it would have changed your DNS settings so you wouldn't actually be set to utilize either of those services. That's the whole point. When it was shut down, the gov't set the fake DNS servers to be legitimate ones. They're taking them offline. The malware set your computer to use those servers. When the servers no longer exist, if your computer is still set to use them, no web pages will load as they won't resolve anymore.

They would, the problem wouldn't be OpenDNS, the problem would be an infected computer would be changed to use DNS servers other than OpenDNS's.
So you'd think you were using OpenDNS, but in fact you're using a different DNS server alltogether.

I find that 4.1.1.1 and 4.2.2.2 are good numbers to remember. They'll at least get me online where I can look up some of the ones that are more difficult to memorize. |

Yup. We're not the people who would be hit by this even if we were affected since we're the type who know how to fix it manually. It's the non-tech savvy people who would have an issue.
