UPDATE:
I just checked the IRS website and I am getting my money Friday 3/2 thats only a one week wait!

I would check with your bank. The IRS release refunds on Friday's. My girlfriend and I filed our returns on the 8th, and the IRS is showing that both of us will receive our direct deposits on Friday.

You should get an email saying the return was accepted.

72 hours after it is accepted you can go to www.irs.gov and click where's my refund. You must wait 72 hours

If you owe you will not get a refund it will be credited to amount due, this includes and State tax owed.

A couple of years back, we had a client that got a refund of over 10 grand, and spent it within a month with nothing to show for it. Big refunds are bad. $750 or below is ideal, IMHO. Even if you owe a little, say $100, then I think that is super.

So maybe he uses it like a restricted savings account and now he has a nice new 50" TV. What kind of interest are you going to get on ~$1,000 staggered balance throughout the year? $20 (minus any service charge for having such a small balance) for the guarantee that you CAN'T touch the funds sounds like a good deal to me.

Same here, Well I did mine at HRblock.com... I was ready to post about the same issue..

Anyone else file there tax's at HRblock.com , said it was accepted and can't see it yet on IRS.gov website? I filed mine on Feb 3rd.
