<description><![CDATA[Omega posted : It took about 2 weeks for me to receive my refund. Unfortunately I made a mistake that caused me to get $955 more back than I should have.  I did not want to be audited, and the money wasn't worth the risk.  So, I amended and included a check for $955.  Given the transit time for the mail (you cannot electronically file a tax amendment) , I would say the check was cashed within 1-2 days of getting the amendment.<br><br>I thought "damn, someone wants their money!"<br><small>--<br>What smells like blue?</small>]]></description>

Once the correction is in place refund processing can occur. The normal refund processing time will be in place from that point.
