Have you posted in the red room recently?
Posting in the Blue Room bars you from posting in the Red Room
(you can still read, though). This would also be the opposite if you have posted in the red room.

Judging from the content of those posts, I'd say a mod just nipped a "flame war" in the bud. Individual posts can be "locked" as well as whole threads.

As Pacrat  noted, specific posts were locked in the thread to prevent further discussion of those particular posts. As opposed to the whole thread, a mod has the option to lock specific posts resulting in the inability to post a reply to the locked posts.

Makes sense but there's no notification of the status.
Above reply by mod_wastrel says I should be seeing one where I've indicated. Are you guys seeing a lock indicator there? Or anywhere else on the page? |

Possibly tied to user account? Notice that each user's image shows a different element order. Some of mine just aren't loading, would be my guess.
Will file a bug report.

It appears to me to be a link issue, clicking on the link in the first post I see each post locked. Going to the forum then clicking on the thread, I see no post locked. Hence had assumed possibly the OP had posted in the red room recently. As they say however, never assume?  |

Firefox 9
Dooble 1.24
Opera 11
and got same exact results with each.
I uploaded images here but they were rightly removed by mod. The sampled image disclosed poster and was from a restricted access forum.
