Re: Actiontec MI424WR FIOS N Router REV. I

Go into advanced settings, Local Administration, and enable telnet.

Thank you.
Now, what commands can I use there?
EDIT--

Got it, working on results now.

"system shell" gets you a Linux shell prompt.

"cat /proc/cpuinfo" to get details on the CPU.

"cat /proc/meminfo" to get details on RAM.

"cat /proc/kmsg" to see kernel boot messages. Look for Flash and details on the wireless radio.

Way too much information from the KMSG command, it actually stopped and disconnected the telnet session.

You might download/try putty instead of telnet. I don't have the link handy, but google can find it.

I'm working on a little matrix/summary of all the stuff everyone's dug up for the F, G, and I (CPU, RAM, Flash, Wireless Radio, NAT). I'll post it in a little while. Right now, all that's missing is the Flash and Wireless Radio for the I.
