I just had Fios installed and they gave me the the Actiontec MI424WR rev I router with firmware 40.19.22. Is this a good router? I also have the linksys e3000 router. How do I connect the 2?

What are you trying to get out of using the E3000? Is your Actiontec connected via Ethernet and Coax or just Coax to the ONT? That may help somebody recommend a configuration.

The actiontec is connected through the coax. I asked the tech to install it through the wan but he said it wasn't necessary for 25/25 service. Bottom line I paid $100 for the E3000 and I want some more use out of it. lol
