when i click the absinthe icon it launches greenp0ison which is supposed to pull cydia i believe. thats my understanding.

my company enforces policy on my phone where i cant disable the password. i did encounter a bit and entered password when it wasnt necessarily prompted, all went fine.
non-issue, esp for those who can simply disable password temporarily.

My Ipad encountered the 1266 error - had to reset all settings, then do the JB - then restore in itunes..
Cydia looks GREAT on the ipad

I agree - easy jailbreak and everything works great on both the iPad and iphone4s
Kudos to saurik as cydia remembered all my purchases and got me going in no time at all

Slightly off topic but with you knowledgeable guys hanging out here I thought I'd ask real quick. Appreciate any feedback..
Any word on an unlock for the 4S? Is that something that's still being pursued these days?
My whole family is still on the 3GS waiting/hoping for unlocked 4/4S phones. My plan on another carrier is just too good to go to Verzion. |

| I know muscle nerd has stated they or he has made some progress. He recommends staying on 5.0 firmware as they are working on the initial baseband.
Keep in mind you could be waiting a while. They haven't come out with an unlock since the iphone 4 debuted and only on the first 01.59.00 baseband.
I personally purchased a factory unlocked iphone 4s so I don't have to monkey with this unlocking craziness anymore.
