Re: Actiontec MI424WR FIOS N Router REV. I my speedtest.net was up there with 150/52, however my verizon test always show inconsistency. That re-profiling sounds kinda of interesting, i was getting 35/35 with speedtest.net this morning, have to go check it tonight when i get home from work, how does one get a re-profiling of the speed? |

Well the reason why i was re-profiled is because i just had the 150/65 installed but was not getting the speeds i should have, the tech had to come back to my home and speak to a tier 2 person at the CO and do the re-profile. |

Well the reason why i was re-profiled is because i just had the 150/65 installed but was not getting the speeds i should have, the tech had to come back to my home and speak to a tier 2 person at the CO and do the re-profile. I just got 150/65 installed on Monday. I have been doing speedtests to make sure i have that big of a pipe. The only speedtest website that it mentions 150/55 is speedtest.net. All the other website are random and always lower than 100 mb on the download side. Verizon's own speed test on the east coast to NY mentions 80mb down and 30mb up. This was the best results i get from the verizon's speed test, every other time i run it, it's always lower and random. Also tried visualware and speakeasy site which also gives me lower and random results. |

I installed the fios optimizer and downloaded the TCP Optimizer v3.0.8 (new) from »www.speedguide.net/downloads.php, my OS is Win7 ultimate, the speedguide.net is a pretty good site to tweak up your speeds. |
