Flash tests freezing

Hello,
I've tried a few locations in the Flash speed tests and Chicago freezes every time with a pop up error box saying something to the effect that "This movie is not responding, if you continue your machine may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort this script?" I abort 1 to 4 of those at a time. Other locations are freezing as well.

What OS and browser are you using? I tried on my mac in Chrome and the test runs fine. Could it be that your flash is out of date?

Thanks for the reply and sorry about my delay in replying.

OS 10.6.8 and Flash is up to date 11.1.102.55. Safari 5.1.2. on a 2.26 GHz Mini.
It seems to work best on Opera. I don't have or want Chrome, since I tried it.
Firefox and Safari fare worst on the Chicago Sprint and Denver servers. That's where it gives the 'Movie is running script' notice. Also the Chicago test always has a blank Notice box above the test box. So I assume it's the browsers architecture that's not friendly with this site's Flash. Other external Flash tests don't have this problem with Safari or Firefox. Haven't tried Camino, since it's about broken down.

I've never tried to run that test before but I get the same result you do in Safari

after saying yes it locks up and stops the test.

Interesting, I get the same results as you in Safari. Flash is flash is flash, perhaps something buggy in the way it interacts with the browser?

Yeah, I don't recall this happening last month. Didn't use the Chicago server, but did Denver and I just don't remember this happening.
A programmer friend thought it may be a difference in Flash versions from this site compared to the existing Flash on Safari and Firefox. But wouldn't guarantee that.

Thanks to both for confirming the issue for me.

It works fine in 10.5.8, but freezes in 10.6.8.

It works in Safari on Lion.

It's happening on my Windows 7 box running Firefox 5 with flash 11.1.102.5 as well. I doubt it's a Mac or safari issue. The java test runs fine.

On my Win7 system it also does not work properly. With flash, the flash animation halts, stutters, jumps. Speeds test way slower than the same site in N.J. compared with Java. Something isn't right with the flash tests.
