Re: [Internet] Download speed and price increase - Lehigh Valley said by ALapo:I received a notice that 25mbps customers in DC will be upgraded to 50mbps (along with a relatively well buried price increase). Anyone know what the upstream will be?

Did they remove the "No contract" option for the Lehigh Valley? I would have sworn that I saw no contract pricing yesterday but now it's only showing $123.95 for the top tier package. |

Just a couple of days ago, they had a promo for three years guaranteed of 25Mbps at $29.99 (it went up $5 each year). Now it's almost $95. I'm not sure what's going on there, and I'm hoping it's a typo since it literally tripled overnight. |

 | These prices have to include a Signature TV bundle of some sorts. They increased the Bundles with no TIVO/Premiere pack included! Who the hell is doing the Marketing at RCN? |

 | reply to ice Here in Chicago, no mention of any price increase.
Until RCN updates it's web site (um, do they do that???) your guess is as good as mine.
According to their verbage on my bill though, price went down, speed went 10M -> 25M.

 | reply to ice Oh, my upstream has gone from 740k to 1.5M if that helps.
My bill did not address upstream speeds and implied no changes - only downstream. |
