Re: Electronic Box pricing for 2012

said by jfmezei:

I bet diskace made that post from his blackberry while on a chairlift, and he hopes to write up the new rates on a napkin later this afternoon while doing some après ski at the resort's bar

If he makes the new rates too low, the chairlift might come to a halt, and/or he may have to abbreviate his pilgrimmage/sojourn.

any ETA ?

Yeah, any ETA ?

I'm waiting to see if i'm buying from eBox or TekSavvy.

If eBox has new videotron pricing with high enough bandwidth I will sign up with them, else I will jump on a DSL 25 from TekSavvy!

Is the "today" part not an ETA??

Yay! Due to the lack of TSI's QC cable tariffs, looks like I will be switching to Ebox.

I would wish, there would be a higher speed option (15, 30Mbps) unlimited for cable. Would there be any chance let's say by keeping the $ 80 price tag ??

the grid says $43.95 for unlimited at 6mbos (DSL), but the text says $44.00

Disapointed that diskace isn't offering FTTN speeds. I was looking forwards to the 7mbps upload.

Disapointed that offpeak starts at 02:00. Was hoping it would be at 01:00

But good that diskace will be offering new rates on cable.

Hey Mr diskace, until when do we have to call you guys to ask for changes to our account ?

*edit*

nvm misread, the overages for extreme is the two asterix note, strangely enough. More punitive for extreme users on overages, no max overage and twice the fine.

Yeah. Caneris doesn't offer FTTN either. 'Sup with that?

No more UBB... nor more AVP... now it's "Capacity Based". Oh... wait... isn't that what we wanted?

$0.50/gig is also pretty expensive. Doesn't that ISP I can't name charge $0.25/gig ?

Looks like we need to send more popcorn to ebox. And looks like diskace may have to wine and dine his Bell wholesale rep to negotiate sweet deals.

max overage is 25$. HV60 unlimited is 80$ (55 + 25) so you already have what you wanted bro.

potentially better than unlimited for some people because you don't always need to pay for the full unlimited until you actually use it.

**le prix de l’utilisation excédentaire des forfaits extrême sera vendu au coût de 0.50$/GB, et ce, sans plafond de surconsommation

No limit for Extreme option.

For now we decide not to offer FTTN until February to let the dust go down a bit and handle the changes for Videotron/Bell. If things are not too heavy metal we might introduce FTTN earlier on DSL.

As for unlimited on EXTREME speed we want to wait a bit to see how usage will grow on Videotron network for HS 8 and all the higher usage on 15/30/60.

Would you offer pre-purchased block for 15/30/60 before unlimited on EXTREME speed
