It's been my experience that you're far more likely to find a good quality feed sourced from the American networks than you are the Canadian networks, who just don't seem to care.

I've seen some horrible feeds from US sources too ... historically the US feeds have always been the least they can get away with.

Depends on the network, and what's being broadcast. ABC and Fox are 720p so that's a bit of a moot point anyway, but even then when you watch an NFL game on CBS it looks significantly better than just about everything else that they show. American networks know where the money is and won't screw around with something that would piss off viewers.

Canadians broadcasters, on the other hand, just don't seem to care, and everyone involved will all point fingers at one another blaming someone else for a problem and all the while never fixing it.
