[Beginner] Where to find the correct AdBlock for FF 2.0.0.20?

Any ideas? I have to run 10.3.5 (Panther) on this machine and am trying to lock down the browser.

Any clue bricks would be greatly appreciated.

I see version 1.01 listed as working with ff2.0: »addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox···ersions/

Are there two different buttons on that page for the Macintosh and WinXP downloads? I tried clicking on the download button, and it was for XP.

My antiquated browser borks the buttons: it looks like they're overlapping or something.

Firefox extensions are OS independent. All you need is the adblock.xpi file and you can install it into Firefox.

Abclock Plus 1.0.2: »addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downl···m+tb.xpi

Hmm... I was about to recommend you try TenFourFox, which I use on my PPC Mini, but I guess even that requires a newer OS (10.4... duh). Sorry.

Thank you for the link. I'm guessing FF asks you to close it following the install in order to complete the installation process?

You have to restart Firefox to complete the install of most extensions, including Adblock Plus.

Right. It's been a while since I've installed any extensions and couldn't recall, exactly. Time to sort out the 50,000 2 or 3 tabs I have open so I can take the plunge.

Thanks again to both you and tmpchaos for the hand-holding.
