Re: Winamp Alternative? Assuming Winamp works fine for you in all other respects, some other options:
(1) there are a bunch of software utilities which can keep any window on top (even if the app doesn't offer that feature)
(2) if you have a media keyboard (with play/pause/stop/skip keys), then it should control Winamp (or another player) if it's running
(3) you could use either an add-on for your browser or another app--such as a system tray utility--which controls Winamp (or another player), FoxyTunes for example
