EA drops support of SOPA

WOW maybe 2012 is the end of the world EA is the last publisher i would expect to back away
if EA wont touch it you know its bad

Can't agree with you any more there. EA I know is pretty heavy on anti-piracy, but it could be possible that they feel that SOPA will also affect their Origin service. Either way, glad to see people are backing away from it (hopefully. Who knows what's going on behind doors).

they also might fear more technically experienced gamers shrugging them off and they publish quite a few PC titles.

so your typical console gamer who will swallow the sports games blindly even though Madden 2K12 is Madden 2K11 with slightly better graphics might not even know about SOPA.. the PC gamers most certainly have a good chance at knowing about it.
