1 edit | [H/W] CISCO 887VA not available anywhere. Iv ordered this thing from about 5 different places and all of them come back a few days later and say its not available, anyone know where I can get one or know what the hell is up.

kudos:5 | Possibly same issue im experiencing with certain cisco parts. It may be the flooding in thailand, in which case you will be unable to obtain them until march or april of next year.
Or it could be some other component supply issue, or it could have been EOL'd or in some other state of removal from the catalog. |

According to this, only the older style 887s (non-VAs) are EOL, unless no one's gotten
around to updating the Cisco.com website yet.
As an option, how is the availability of a G2 ISR and a DSL EHWIC Napsterbater, or
too expensive?

Heh Love that guy and so true.
Might have found one, we shall see, but really the 887va is the perfect match of price and flexibility with re-guards to ADSL and VDSL on the same unit for future upgrades.
If I cant get another Cisco in that range I might have to look at something else.

kudos:1 | The Broadcom multimode ADSL/VDSL chipset has also made it onto the new 867VAE ISRG2 but this would have some limitations vs the 887VA.
