MSI is FINALLY available from the download page, so you can roll it out easily.

"\\path\to\the\Foxitxxx.msi /passive" command-line switch updates existing without changing settings, although one does lose the current set of open PDFs if you maintain that.

Still no portable reader? Does anyone have a free, light, and portable replacement since I still use v4.3.1 in Windows?

Here it is--one file 4mbs. Doesn't get any easier, lighter, or simple than Sumatra. I quit using Foxit a long time ago.

Absolutely. Not only handles them well, but much faster.

Yeah, I'm using it on XP Pro SP3. Try it now. It's just one standalone file--no installation required.
