Keep in mind most of the tweaks are for connections, rendering, and cache and as far as I can tell Fx has not changed the default settings since Fx 4. You can easily test with tweaks and without and then pick the one that works best on your computer(s). -- If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!

I am using the old Fx v4 profile w/ Fx v8. I had to remove a few failed extensions and cleaned some entries out of the prefs.js but other then that it is the same Profile and working fine. -- If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!
