Re: Frozen Square Waffles Safeway has/had them as 'Belgian Waffles', square and thick, at least a few months ago, under their own brand; freezer aisle near all other frozen waffles/treats/bagles...? But definitely not anymore?

| That was where I last bought them. Safeway corporate said "we don't carry them any longer, but we will pass along your suggestion to the frozen foods product team."
I don't understand why all of the chains around here stopped carrying them. It seems like Eggo is the prime product, followed by Aunt Jemima. The store brands get even less shelf space. Eggos are bland and are too airy.
