The 1.5 Mbps $35 plan is gone

We were going to sign my dad up today for the basic service with 1.5 Mbps downstream speeds ($35/month) but Clear has removed that plan. The only choice now is the standard $45 plan with the "no preset cap" speeds.

It was a good alternative to the 1.5M/384K DSL service and the 1M/512K "Road Runner Lite" available around here, especially for light users.

My dad is selling his house and moving to a MDU, and the Clear "lite" plan was going to be what he used at the new place. Bummer.

Anyone know when they ditched the "lite" service plan? It had to be fairly recent.
