As for QoS issues what issues and what are you using to determine that?
Nothing precise. I was d/l a single torrent while watching a Netflix video. This is something we do with regularity.
While d/l'ding the torrent, the video would stutter and pause. Pause the torrent and it cleared up.
I used uTorrent's own config to throttle the d/l down to 30Mb then 20Mb. I confirmed the reduction in pfSense. It didn't make a difference.
I did NOT try to limit the # of threaded connections uTorrent was maintaining. The settings were unchanged over the last 6 months. Which means I likely had a LOT of connections in play. My state tables avg 100-400 entries (using BT) and that doesn't count UDP.
