Go to the config page, reset and restart cable modem button. If that doesn't work, call the cable provider and they may need to reprovision the modem. |

A 6,000,000 dB attenuator would be quite a challenge to make.
Just the "free-space path loss" (»en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free-space_path_loss) from your cable headend would only be about 100 dB at 500 MHz! |
