Schaumburg, IL | Universal Sports changes It looks like Comcast is pulling Universal Sports as a broadcast subchannel, and turning it into a regular cable/satellite channel.

Tricky to say what will happen on Comcast cable. Depending on the system, if it stays when the broadcast version is dropped, it may move to a different channel number, or just disappear altogether. It almost certainly will no longer be ClearQAM basic cable.
Odds are, in the long run, it will become Versus2 (the equivalent of ESPN2). |

Good because they are pulling it in the Detroit area. It was a subchannel of TV38. They are replacing it with Antenna TV on October 1, 2011, thankfully. |
