[VOD] VOD Restarts rather than Resumes

Was watching a movie on HBO OD this weekend. Stopped the movie for potty break. Came back and hit resume. Movie started from the beginning. Have had the same issue before on NBC shows. At least with HBO you can fast forward so don't have to catch up in real time.
Anyone else had this issue?

I don't watch too much VOD to give you an answer, but I've seen that complaint many times on the Verizon Forums.

Without getting into too much detail - how long was the potty break?

Only ask b/c VZ does have a "time out" setting while watching VOD.

I had that issue once, and it was solved by a reboot of the box. When was the last time you rebooted yours?

Yes, I too have had that issue recently, and even if it timed out on a pause, it used to take you back to where you paused before it timed out. It no longer does that either. I just no longer stop playback, or pause it so long that it times out any longer.

I just have not had the time nor energy to call in a trouble on this. I was waiting for 1.9 and though that might correct it...but..that is looking to be way in the future now.

Didn't pause. Actually hit stop (knew about the timeout). Then came back, went to rentals (where all recently viewed programs show up), selected movie and chose resume. Movie started from beginning. Doesn't happen every time. But enough to be annoying. Really sucks on channels that don't support FF.
