Re: [DSL] better line stats, slower speed. the way the local techs explained it to me, it sounds like i am already on the adrenaline. i say this because the guy i talked to this morning kept telling me that even with the adrenaline unit i was lucky to even get 1Mbps!
Eh, the technical support guy i talked to this afternoon seemed to agree with me. i even started to tell him about what the tech told me this morning; that the distance is why i'm unable to get a faster connection.. tech support stopped me in mid-sentence saying "yeah distance is a factor, but from what i can see you should be able to handle every bit of the 3.7Mbps you are provisioned for. There IS a problem somewhere"
If I can't get my local guys to do anything, I'm not afraid to contact regional managers and give names of the incompetent techs. in fact, that's how i got them to install the adrenaline unit in the first place. |
