 | CETON Infinitv 4 with CV Optimum on LI - ANY SUCCESSES?? In reading about CETON tuners most posts here are about the problems and failings of Cablevision supporting users with cable cards, etc.
Has anyone had success on Long Island where the signal is still mixed between analog and digital?
I just received my CETON infinitv 4 card and before spending hours going down to the walk-in center (imagining strange looks I'll get when I ask for a multi-tuning cable card from the usually incompetent people CV hires) and troubleshooting (won't bother calling CV as my teenage daughter usually knows more about technology than their "techs")... I wanted to know if anyone has gotten this combo to work successfully and what needs to be done in a location with mixed broadcast signal types.
Thank you in advance for posting about successes only please (if they exist). |

 | The ceton tuners don't tune analog channels at all. All channels are offered via digital. |

 | reply to britchie you also need SDV tuners.

CV is SA so you may need 2 SDV tunners to use all 4 tuners. |

 | reply to britchie If you have analog that you need to tune you need a separate analog card.
BTW I love my Ceton, had it since launch... it's great! |
