1 edit | reply to shades The "Users & Settings" page loaded for me after about 5 minutes the first time I tried (subsequent times are pretty much instant), but the link to the usage detail page is missing as is the option to enable/disable the DNS helper. It's also missing for a co-worker.
I tried going to »customer.comcast.com/Secure/Usag···ail.aspx directly, but that just ends up loading »customer.comcast.com/Secure/Users.aspx
So it looks like all settings related to my modem are gone.
At least I can access my other account settings, which is a plus, but it's still not completely fixed.

I am on the phone with Customer Service, and after the rep got done implying that I was pirating/torrenting (I had to explain what Steam and cloud backups were, the dumbass--thanks for assuming I'm a criminal), he started reading the script about how going over 250 GB twice in a six-month period would result in a 12-month disconnect and I would be ineligible for either residential OR business service during that time.
After half an hour of being on hold, he said the BW meter "has been taken off the site" and I asked for a bandwidth check so I knew were I stood--do I hold more cloud backups until August or go ahead with them? He said "that's a very good question." -- If we lose this freedom of ours, history will record with the greatest astonishment, those who had the most to lose, did the least to prevent its happening. |

He was nice enough after the initial exchange about bandwidth use, but at the end he offered to escalate my call to a more knowledgeable representative, but he actually transferred me to an Xfinity Signature Support advertisement about paying for additional protection and (I guess) more competent support.
Guess I'll do without a bandwidth meter, and fight any warning they send me if I go over 250 GB according to their special hidden meter.

| reply to shades Is anyone else still missing their usage meter? Mine's still MIA today. Also the "Domain Helper" setting is MIA as well.
It looks like the account web site isn't linked to my modem or something. Do you need to access the site from home now in order to see this now or can you still see it when away from home?
