I put it in the rants forum first but figured i would put it here instead. My wife was in a accident with her 6 month old car. We turn it into our insurance to get repaired. we take it to a dealer body shop where our insurance company has a office inside. Its a approved shop for our insurance company so i figured it would be a good choice. Plus the shop has done good work for us in the past. Its in the shop for a week and we get the call its done. Go to pick it up and the front bumper is actually glued on with broken plastic ealets also. Clearly i refuse the car and insist broken plastic gets replaced or somehow repaired. the body shop agreed it sucked but said my insurance refused to replace the broken plastic. I left the car and the shop is going over it tomorrow with the insurance company to tell them no way we are accepting a 6 month old car with a front bumper glued together. What do you guys think. The insurance company dealt with my wife until it was time to pick it up. I think its disgracefull that they would even try that shit
To late for that. They took care of all my concerns the next day. its not the best but its acceptable now. The only issue that may still be there is the inner fender not lining up with the fender. Maybe i can get a picture of that but i dont consider that a big deal.

When you see workmanship that is not up to par it makes you wonder what hidden workmanship is the same or worse because it is hidden from sight. I'd be concerned that the work isn't up to snuff if they cannot return the car to you looking like it was never damaged, not with things that are no longer in alignment or that show poor fit or poor finish. -- Whats the point of owning a supercar if you cant scare yourself stupid from time to time?
